Reginald Scantlebury

Reginald Scantlebury, “Reggie”, joined Stern Brothers as Senior Managing Director, Head of Equity Capital Markets, Institutional Sales in 2019. He oversees both domestic and international equity sales and trading as well as the pension fund services business for Stern. He has an extensive brokerage and investment banking background, and an investment acumen that includes experience of building capital markets business for various MWBE firms. Mr. Scantlebury is a seasoned investment professional who works with Fortune 500 corporations and some of the largest pension funds in the country, and is responsible for working with clients on multiple market and investment strategies. He previously worked with IFS Securities and Blaylock Van, both as Managing Director of Capital Markets. Mr. Scantlebury is a past President of the National Association of Security Professionals, NY Chapter (NASP-NY) and served on their Board for 12 years.

Mr. Scantlebury studied business management and journalism at Temple University and completed the Tucks Business School MWBE Executive Program at Dartmouth College, Tuck School of Business. He played four seasons of professional football in the NFL, CFL, and USFL where he played wide receiver, running back, and kick returner. He is a member of the National Eagle Scouts Association and has served as chair of the advancement committees and Scout Master for sixteen years in the neighborhood where he grew up, Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, NY. Mr. Scantlebury holds series 7, 24, 57, 63, and 79 licenses.
