Gabe is the Chief Executive Officer and a Portfolio Manager at Empiric Institutional. He and his partners founded the firm in 2012. He is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of Empiric as well as overseeing the portfolio management and execution of the firm’s international strategy. Mr. Rodriguez also serves as a voting member of the Research and Investment committee.

Gabe’s investment career began in 2007 at the firm’s retail-focused and affiliated RIA, Empiric Advisors. He was part of the firm’s quantitative investment team and helped implement the ever-evolving systematic process used at Empiric today. Gabriel received his B.B.A. in Finance & Accounting from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas.
