The IDAC team is excited to bring on new members to join us in the collaborative effort to transform Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the asset management industry. Becoming a member of IDAC gives your organization special access to industry-leading workshops, strategies, and resources designed to help you maximize your talent pool, and ultimately, drive financial returns. As a member you will also have opportunities for direct input on the future of IDAC. If you are interested in being an active participant in this best-in-class cooperative, you are in the right place!
As part of your membership, you will have the opportunity to benefit from and contribute to the discussion on Talent Maximization policy development through a handful of member-only activities. Your input is vital to the success of a holistic outlook on this topic.
We invite our members to join at least one of the five working groups that meet throughout the year focused on talent maximization strategies/resources and IDAC organizational input.
We gather all asset management representatives as equal participants for roundtable discussions to crowd-source contributions toward the common goal of increasing diversity in our industry.
In addition to the benefits we provide to our members, we offer opportunities for our member organizations to become leaders in shaping the future of IDAC and its mission. Participation in our multi-year initiatives to continue strengthening IDAC’s infrastructure, outputs, and investment in the future enable your organization to drive meaningful change toward accelerating the inclusion of the historically underutilized and untapped talent pool.
The leaders of IDAC understand this is a collaborative effort with current DEI inequality gaps in our industry are far too great and complex for one organization to solve holistically. To begin this collective journey, we have reached out to NASP, AAAIM, NAA, IIDC, and other DEI-focused organizations to strategically align on a path forward. What specifically distinguishes us is:
1. A task force specifically designed to develop solutions for closing all DEI inequality gaps within our industry, including capital funding, hiring initiatives, and education.
2. An organizational structure that leverages people, efforts, and resources across all representatives in our industry, including asset managers, allocators, consultants, and academics.
As a member of IDAC there are many strategic initiatives to participate in which will ultimately benefit your company's short term goals as well as the long term future of DEI. Your active membership provides your organization a direct stake in the evolution of DEI in our industry and establishes your organization as a DEI leader building an industry that is better equipped to meet stakeholder objectives by optimizing your talent pool.
We couldn’t be more excited to have you join IDAC!
IDAC was launched in February 2020 as a non-profit for investment organizations to share best practices and document progress on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the asset management industry.
